Oral health among young children remains a common issue, particularly regarding the incidence of Early Childhood Caries (ECC), which impacts a child's health, comfort, and overall growth and development. This issue stems from various factors, such as dietary habits, suboptimal oral hygiene, and the children's limited ability to brush their teeth correctly. This activity aimed to enhance children's knowledge and skills in maintaining oral hygiene through an educational session featuring a toothbrushing demonstration at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal IX Kindergarten. The methods employed included interactive education, animated videos, demonstrations by the implementation team, and hands-on practice for 35 children aged 4–6 years. Evaluation was conducted through observation and a simple question-and-answer session following the activity. The results showed that the participants engaged enthusiastically and were able to mimic toothbrushing movements more effectively after the demonstration. The demonstration method proved effective as it aligns with the learning characteristics of young children, who tend to rely on visual aids and hands-on practice. Teacher involvement and school support contributed to the smooth execution of the activity and reinforced the learning process. In conclusion, the demonstration-based toothbrushing education activity successfully improved the children's understanding and basic skills in maintaining oral hygiene as a preventive measure against Early Childhood Caries (ECC). It is recommended that this program be continued by establishing routine toothbrushing habits at school and parental involvement at home.
