Post-Publication Discussion
Jurnal Teknologi Informasi dan Multimedia recognizes the importance of post-publication discussion in maintaining the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record. Readers, researchers, authors, and other members of the academic community are encouraged to provide constructive comments, questions, corrections, or concerns regarding articles published in JTIM.
Post-publication discussions may address the methodology, data, analysis, interpretation, findings, or other aspects of a published article. Comments should be evidence-based, academically relevant, and presented in a professional and respectful manner. Personal attacks, defamatory statements, inappropriate language, or comments unrelated to the scientific content of the article will not be considered for publication.
Substantive comments or concerns regarding a published article may be submitted to the editorial office through the journal's official communication channels. The editorial team will assess the relevance and validity of the submitted comments and, where appropriate, may invite the original authors to provide a response. Authors are encouraged to respond objectively and transparently to legitimate questions or concerns raised about their work.
When a post-publication discussion identifies a minor error that does not affect the validity or interpretation of the research, the journal may publish a Correction or other appropriate notice. If substantial concerns arise regarding the reliability, integrity, or validity of a published article, the journal may conduct an investigation and, where necessary, publish an Expression of Concern or Retraction in accordance with applicable publication ethics principles and relevant COPE guidelines.
All post-publication actions are intended to preserve the integrity of the academic record. Decisions regarding corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions will be made based on the available evidence and will be handled fairly, transparently, and independently of personal or institutional interests.
JTIM welcomes responsible scholarly dialogue after publication and considers constructive post-publication discussion an important part of the continuous development and improvement of scientific knowledge.
