Archiving

Jurnal Teknologi Informasi dan Multimedia (JTIM) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, security, and continued accessibility of its published content. To support the sustainability of the scholarly record, JTIM uses LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS), and the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) as electronic archiving and digital preservation systems.

These systems provide a distributed archiving infrastructure in which participating libraries and preservation networks maintain copies of the journal's published content. This distributed approach helps protect journal content against data loss, technical failures, website disruption, or other unforeseen circumstances and supports the long-term preservation and restoration of published articles.

Through LOCKSS and CLOCKSS, participating libraries and preservation partners can maintain permanent archival copies of JTIM content for preservation and restoration purposes. PKP PN additionally provides a preservation service for journal content published through Open Journal Systems (OJS), helping to ensure that published articles and associated metadata remain accessible over the long term.

JTIM considers electronic archiving and digital preservation an essential component of responsible scholarly publishing. The journal is committed to maintaining the integrity and continuity of its published scholarly record and to supporting continued access to its content even in the event of disruption to the journal's primary publishing platform.
